The UK has a strong and historic trading relationship with Brazil and is the UK’s largest trading partner in Latin America with a bilateral trade in goods worth £5.1 billion.
There are a wide range of opportunities across Brazil’s engineering sector, particularly for machine tools. The Brazilian Aerospace Industry is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Opportunities include supply chain and partnerships, automation technology, composites and metallic structures and connectivity.
Brazil is the seventh largest producer of vehicles in the world. Main opportunities include low carbon technologies, engineering services, such as software and consultancy, lightweight components and advanced materials.
